This policy describes Awaysemble’s current mobile application and website. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
Account information
We collect information used to create and secure your account, such as your email address, authentication records, and basic profile information you choose to provide.
Trip content
We process information you add to Awaysemble, including trip dates and destinations, itinerary plans, reservations, confirmation details, budgets, packing items, comments, votes, photos, documents, reviews, notes, and favorite places.
Shared trips
When you join or create a shared trip, other members of that trip may see your profile identity and the trip content you contribute, subject to their role and the app’s access controls.
Device and usage information
We may process device identifiers needed for push notifications, diagnostic information, feature interactions, and general usage events. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve Awaysemble.
How we use information
- Provide accounts, trip planning, collaboration, storage, reminders, and synchronization.
- Retrieve requested place, travel, currency, or flight information.
- Generate requested planning, translation, or menu assistance.
- Protect the service, investigate failures, enforce limits, and prevent misuse.
- Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.
When we share information
We disclose information to the travelers you choose to share a trip with and to service providers only as needed to provide a requested feature. Current categories include cloud database and storage, application hosting and delivery, maps and place information, flight status, travel experiences, notifications, and AI-assisted features.
Depending on the feature you use, providers may include Supabase, Expo, OpenAI, Mapbox, Foursquare, Aviationstack, and Viator. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when legally required or to protect users, the public, or the service.
Retention and your choices
You can update or remove much of your trip content within the app. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information through our account deletion page. We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain security. Some limited records may remain in protected backups until those backups expire.
Security and children
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including authenticated access and database access controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Awaysemble is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
International processing
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Data-protection rules may differ from those in your location.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
